Saturday, xx-June-2020 to Monday, xx-June-2020 - Register your interest in our 2020 trip now
Organised by the Vélo Club de Roubaix Cyclotourisme this event is held every two years, and provides riders with the opportunity to to take on the ultimate Classics challenge. You and your bike versus the route of the ‘Hell Of The North’. If that isn’t enough to whet your appetite then add to this the prize of riding around the famous Roubaix vélodrome to finish.
Conditions at this time of the year may be different from those of the Pro Race weekend, but hotter and dustier certainly doesn’t make this course easier. With two distances to choose from - 120kms for those who just want to dip their toes into ‘Hell’, or 210kms for those who want to jump right in - you’ll need to be prepared for a real test of strength and bike handling skills.
While not exactly full race-distance the longer route closely follows that used by the pros, and includes more than 50kms of bone-rattling pavé (cobbled) sections. Plenty to put both man and machine through their paces. On this Challenge weekend trip we take care of getting you there and back from London, transfers to and from the main event, as well as providing additional support where permitted during it.
Fancy seeing the pros do it? Then see our Paris Roubaix Pro Race Weekend page.

Itinerary at a glance:
Saturday - We leave from London in the morning, crossing on the Eurotunnel to Calais, and heading on to our base near San Quentin. After completing event registration you should find time before dinner to get out on your bike to loosen your legs, or make any final checks and adjustments to suit the conditions.
Sunday - This is what you are here for - so let’s get you riding the route of the Paris Roubaix race. After a very early breakfast it’s off to the start of your challenge. Enjoy it! In addition to the feed zones provided by the organisers Red Lantern Cycling will be on call to provide back up, and of course meet you at the finish to take you on to your hotel afterwards.
Monday - For those up for getting back in the saddle we’ll get you out on an early morning recovery ride before we head back, catching the Eurotunnel and arriving back in London on Monday afternoon.
